  1. Verse 1

(Refrain) mādhaba tohe ki śikhāyaba āna gorī ālāpi śyāma naṭa sañcaru aba tuhu bidagadha jāna

(Refrain) madhaba tohe ki sikhayaba ana gori alapi syama nata sancaru aba tuhu bidagadha jana

    (Rएfरैन्) माधब तोहे कि शिखायब आन गोरी आलापि श्याम नट सञ्चरु अब तुहु बिदगध जान

How many melodies do You play on the flute placed to Your flower-petal lips? Leaving their homes, the saintly gopis run to You. They have no power to stay away.

  2. Verse 1

muralī milita adhara naba-pallaba gāyata kata kata rāga kulabatī ho-i mandira choḍi āyalu sahite nā pāri birāga

murali milita adhara naba-pallaba gayata kata kata raga kulabati ho-i mandira chodi ayalu sahite na pari biraga

    मुरली मिलित अधर नबपल्लब गायत कत कत राग कुलबती होइ मन्दिर छोडि आयलु सहिते ना पारि बिराग

How many melodies do You play on the flute placed to Your flower-petal lips? Leaving their homes, the saintly gopis run to You. They have no power to stay away.

  3. Verse 2

muralī choḍi achu madhura ālāpite saba jana nāhi āna kaṇṭhahi kaṇṭha meli abahi samujhiye yati ṛṇe hota suṭhāma

murali chodi achu madhura alapite saba jana nahi ana kanthahi kantha meli abahi samujhiye yati rne hota suthama

    मुरली छोडि अछु मधुर आलापिते सब जन नाहि आन कण्ठहि कण्ठ मेलि अबहि समुझिये यति ऋणे होत सुठाम

Putting down the flute, now You speak sweetly. No one is like You. Meeting the gopis closely, You declare that You are in debt to them.

  4. Verse 3

nirajana jāni hṛdaye aba dhārabi aichana guṇabatī bhāṣa guṇijana-lāja aiche nāhi hoyata kahatahiṁ gobinda-dāsa

nirajana jani hrdaye aba dharabi aichana gunabati bhasa gunijana-laja aiche nahi hoyata kahatahim gobinda-dasa

    निरजन जानि हृदये अब धारबि ऐछन गुणबती भाष गुणिजनलाज ऐछे नाहि होयत कहतहिं गोबिन्ददास

Thus You speak to the saintly gopis. In this secluded place You will embrace them to Your heart. The saintly devotees are not shy to praise these pastimes. So speaks Govinda dasa.
