pīta-varaṇa kali-pāvana gorā gāoyāi aichana bhāva-vibhorā

pita-varana kali-pavana gora gaoyai aichana bhava-vibhora

पीतवरण कलिपावन गोरा गाओयाइ ऐछन भावविभोरा

Lord Gauranga, whose complexion is golden and who is the deliverer of the fallen souls of Kali-yuga, sings as follows, overwhelmed with spiritual ecstasy:

citta-darpana-parimārjana-kārī kṛṣṇa-kīrtana jaya citta bihārī

citta-darpana-parimarjana-kari krsna-kirtana jaya citta bihari

चित्तदर्पनपरिमार्जनकारी कृष्णकीर्तन जय चित्त बिहारी

"All glories to the chanting of the holy name of Krsna! It thoroughly cleanses the mirror of the heart. This chanting delights the soul.

helā-bhava-dāva-nirvāpana-vṛtti kṛṣṇa-kīrtana jaya kleśa-nivṛtti

hela-bhava-dava-nirvapana-vrtti krsna-kirtana jaya klesa-nivrtti

हेलाभवदावनिर्वापनवृत्ति कृष्णकीर्तन जय क्लेशनिवृत्ति

"All glories to the chanting of the holy name of Krsna! It extinguishes the horrible forest fire of material existence. This chanting removes all material tribulations.

śreyaḥ-kumuda-vidhu-jyotsnā-prakāś kṛṣṇa-kīrtana jaya bhakti-vilās

sreyah-kumuda-vidhu-jyotsna-prakas krsna-kirtana jaya bhakti-vilas

श्रेयःकुमुदविधुज्योत्स्नाप्रकाश कृष्णकीर्तन जय भक्तिविलास

"All glories to the chanting of the holy name of Krsna! It appears like the moon in the heart and distributes its cooling moonlight, thus causing the white lotus of good fortune to bloom. This chanting is the pastime of devotion.

viśuddha-vidyā-vadhū jīvana-rūp kṛṣṇa-kīrtana jaya siddha-swarūp

visuddha-vidya-vadhu jivana-rup krsna-kirtana jaya siddha-swarup

विशुद्धविद्यावधू जीवनरूप कृष्णकीर्तन जय सिद्धस्wअरूप

"All glories to the chanting of the holy name of Krsna! It is compared to a young bride, chaste and devoted to transcendental knowledge itself. This chanting is the highest perfection of life.

ānanda-payo-nidhi-vardhana-kīrti kṛṣṇa-kīrtana jaya plāvana-mūrti

ananda-payo-nidhi-vardhana-kirti krsna-kirtana jaya plavana-murti

आनन्दपयोनिधिवर्धनकीर्ति कृष्णकीर्तन जय प्लावनमूर्ति

"All glories to the chanting of the holy name of Krsna! It is glorious, as it causes the ocean of ecstatic bliss to swell and overflow. This chanting is an inundation of love of Godhead.

pade pade pīyūṣa-swāda-pradātā kṛṣṇa-kīrtana jaya prema-vidhātā

pade pade piyusa-swada-pradata krsna-kirtana jaya prema-vidhata

पदे पदे पीयूषस्wआदप्रदाता कृष्णकीर्तन जय प्रेमविधाता

"All glories to the chanting of the holy name of Krsna! It gives one a taste of fully satisfying nectar at every step. This chanting is the bestower of ecstatic love of God."
